Weekly classes for Girls approx age 4-10. Classes held Wednesdays 7:00PM at LB Dance Academy, 727 South St. and Saturdays 9:30AM at 54th St. and Ocean Blvd. in Long Beach, CA. Locations and times subject to change with Director's notice. No experience necessary; most students come from no prior dance experience. Elements of class include:
  • Warm-Up
  • Flexibility Stretching (Splits, Backbends, Full Body)
  • Across the Floor (Chaines, Piques, Spirals, Leaps, Kicks)
  • Choreography: New and Review (taught to different levels)
  • Showmanship (Strong Lines, Execution, Smiles, Performance Attitude, Musicality, Rhythm)
  • Acrobatics/Gymnastics on Mat and Floor (Cartwheels, Handstands, Rolls, Backbends, Kickovers, Walkovers, Two-Person Tricks)
